Open Source Alternatives

I’ve used Thunderbird before; version 0.3 and 0.6. When compared to Mozilla all-in-one client, I thought that Thunderbird lacked features. I also tried many FireFox/Firebird versions and really didn’t like it that much. But when I tried FireFox ver. 0.9, I was surprised. I liked it! A bit slow at started up, compared to IE.

Now I’ve decided to replace my all-in-one Mozilla with Thunderbird 1.0 as the my mail client.

Next, I’ll try OpenOffice again, and see if there is any progress on that front.
